Last updated 26 April 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Don't Call Me Aunty (“DCMA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) at dontcallmeaunty.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Eligibility

To use DCMA, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain only one active account

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Profile Completion

To access matching features, you must complete your profile, including the onboarding questions and uploading the required photos. Profile completion is tracked and must reach 100% before certain features become available.

3.3 Account Security

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the service for commercial purposes or solicitation
  • Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten other users
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
  • Use photos that are not of yourself or are heavily edited/filtered
  • Create multiple accounts or share your account
  • Attempt to manipulate the friend vouch system
  • Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer any part of the service
  • Upload malware or attempt to compromise system security
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.2 Content Standards

All content you submit (photos, written responses, voice inputs) must be your own original content or content you have permission to use. Content must be appropriate, respectful, and comply with community standards.

5. Friend Vouch System

5.1 How It Works

You can share unique vouch links with friends. Friends provide testimonials by answering questions about you and giving a recommendation score (1-5). Friend vouches help us match you more accurately and signal trust to the people you match with — they’re recommended, not required.

5.2 Vouch Privacy

Friend testimonials are private and confidential. You cannot view the specific content of what your friends wrote about you. This maintains testimonial integrity and honesty. Red flag disclosures are especially kept private and used only for safety and moderation purposes.

5.3 Vouch Authenticity

You agree to request vouches only from people who genuinely know you. Attempting to manipulate the vouch system through fake testimonials or coordinated responses may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Photos and Content

6.1 Photo Requirements

  • Minimum 3 photos, maximum 5 photos
  • Photos must clearly show your face
  • Photos must be recent (within the last year)
  • No group photos where you cannot be identified
  • No inappropriate, suggestive, or explicit content
  • No heavily filtered or digitally altered photos

6.2 Content License

By uploading content, you grant DCMA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service. You retain ownership of your content.

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice.

7. AI-Assisted Features

Our service uses AI technology (Anthropic Claude API) to format voice inputs with proper punctuation and structure. By using voice input features, you consent to your voice recordings being processed through this AI service. Voice recordings are used solely for transcription formatting and are not stored permanently.

8. Matching and Compatibility

8.1 No Guarantees

While we strive to provide quality matches based on compatibility, we do not guarantee that you will find a match or develop a successful relationship. Matchmaking results depend on many factors beyond our control.

8.2 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We recommend meeting in public places and taking appropriate safety precautions. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether online or offline.

9. Fees and Payments

DCMA may introduce paid features in the future. Pricing, payment terms, and refund policies will be clearly communicated before any charges are applied. We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice to existing users.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile and associated data will be removed within 30 days.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Manipulate the vouch system
  • Upload inappropriate content
  • Pose a security or legal risk

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of DCMA (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software) are the exclusive property of DCMA and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our service.

12. Privacy

Your use of DCMA is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

13. Disclaimers

13.1 Service “As Is”

DCMA is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13.2 No Medical or Professional Advice

Information provided through DCMA is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information obtained through the service.

13.3 Third-Party Services

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DCMA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DCMA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve disputes informally.

16.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the service and delete your account.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DCMA regarding the use of our service and supersede any prior agreements.
